ICM 1/48 Sd.Kfz.222
Re: ICM 1/48 Sd.Kfz.222
Depending on how thick yo made it, it can take 24 to 48 hours.
It tends to crack sometimes too.

Today I have mostly been...
Painting tiny cobble stones.
Air clay finally dried, so after the day from hell at work, it was quite relaxing to sit and do this!
I think it looks alright, but as always, any comments on improvement are appreciated.
Cheers guys

Re: ICM 1/48 Sd.Kfz.222
Nice work on the cobble stone base. Any cracking? Didn't appear to have any from the pics. So many mediums to use to recreate the stuff. i still get a kick out of split peas. They actually do a pretty nice job. Great work, Sir.

Split peas?
Crap... where did you see that done Russ?
Those would be great... I'm curious as to how they're applied.

Re: ICM 1/48 Sd.Kfz.222
Split peas? Good idea, Russ! Thanks. Fortunately no cracking, it was a bit humid when I did it so I think that helped it to dry slowly. I think if it was much bigger it would crack, but then a little filler would sort that out.
