Depending on how thick yo made it, it can take 24 to 48 hours.
It tends to crack sometimes too.

Today I have mostly been...
Painting tiny cobble stones.

Air clay finally dried, so after the day from hell at work, it was quite relaxing to sit and do this!

I think it looks alright, but as always, any comments on improvement are appreciated.

Nice work on the cobble stone base. Any cracking? Didn't appear to have any from the pics. So many mediums to use to recreate the stuff. i still get a kick out of split peas. They actually do a pretty nice job. Great work, Sir.

Split peas? Good idea, Russ! Thanks. Fortunately no cracking, it was a bit humid when I did it so I think that helped it to dry slowly. I think if it was much bigger it would crack, but then a little filler would sort that out.
