Nice update again. My limited experience with AFVs has shown that even with the best kits (Tamiya) you need to super glue the tracks on the top return runs. How much and where depends on the kit and reference sources. In general the larger the scale the easier the fit will be. On a 1/76 Airfix I would have expected some issues! Since its your BDay and I know how much you like different stuff to look at, if you are interested I have a 1/48 Tamiya kit of the German Marder III M that I bought by mistake (Don't ask) that you can have for review and build, or as a prize for the forum guys. It's quite a small kit in size at that scale but a challenging build, PM me if you are interested as it is my contribution to the development of the forum. Best regards Dave
On the Bench

1/48 Revell SH-60B Seahawk (on hold)
1/72 Matchbox Supermarine Walrus II (Decalling)
1/48 Hasegawa Idolm@ster F-16C (Decals complete)
1/35 Hobbyboss ZSL-92 IFV (Building)

That is an awesome offer Dave...!!

Maybe we could come up with something special for that as a prize instead of just a giveaway. Seriously nice gesture.....

PM on it's way Dave....

No wonder it's got 600 odd pieces...lol.

Looks like it's going to be quite a project and do you know why I got it? It's your fault Norm! Saw the mortar launcher that you did with the full interior and thought "I want a go at that", might even get the AM engine for it, I would imagine it's be the same as the one you used?

are you talking about the M1129 MCV-B ? if you have that kit... I would not go for the engine as it doesn't fit very well... as you could see !!! reason why I can't glue my TOP down !

as for the BTR-60 PU there are "2 engines" and I don't know of a A.M. kit for it ??? yet ! maybe in Europe it might be more... publicizes ? I know guys that used Gizmology to fake it ... but I would rather put in a Real set ! lets wait for Legend Productions ?? I am sure they will supply us with a Cool kit eventually ???

I am getting that puppy so bad ! LOL I'm an Old Radio Tech so ... Any Coms Vehicles are like Candy for me !!! LOL but I have a Lean on for Howitzers as well !!! LOL must be a Gun Envy thing ?

Later !

Norm.
