The Fokker C.X was used as a recce and bomber aircraft by the Finnish Airforce during WWII.

Purely recce aircraft and vehicles only I'm afraid

OK. In my opinion the Fokker C.X was mostly used as a recce and spotting aircraft by the FAF and could only carry a small bomb load on racks under the lower wings.

Of course the admins choose if it's okay to enter.

Here is a few pics to see what this aircraft was like:

-Modelsvit 1/72 Tupolev Tu-22KD Blinder (From Russia With Love GB)
-Tamiya 1/20 Lotus 25 Coventry Climax
-Czech Master Resin 1/72 Fokker C.X Finnish version
...and some other stuff too.

Next projects: Waaaayyyy too much!

I read that it would be 1950-2000. Don't know if that's been confirmed yet though?

I saw that but, I read it as, just an example and the time period was still to be determined.

I Hope it includes WWII as I have plans to to a seascape dio depicting the USS Hornet/ the Jimmy Doolittle raid on Tokyo

1950??? Didn't see that before. I was planning on building a TBF Avenger which the RNZAF operated until 1959. Hope it still qualifiys even though it best known as a WW2 aircraft. If someone from admin could let me know it would be much appreciated. Cheers

It didn't say military only when we had to vote on which GB we wanted this year,
not everyone wants to build AFV or aircraft.
That means this year there is only one GB you can build none military The rising sun GB.

I'm sorry, but we can't please all of the people all of the time. :(

I'm sure it was mentioned somewhere about the Homeland GB to be military. Will have to trawl all the old threads when I get time, but it's there somewhere.

As Paul said, we've tried civilian themed GB's and SiG's before and there is just not the interest I'm afraid.

Fair enough,I was just under the assumption that it was military or civilian. :cheers2:

I would like to take part ...here's what I;m thinking

Homeland....British Centurion
Eye Spy...LRDG Chevrolet
Heil the Hunter.....Gotta be a Jagdtiger

Being new to this can you tell me is it just the models that are built or can they be put in a scene?
Can I change my mind on the subject before I start....( toooo many kits to choose from and I'm sure there will be more by the start time!)

Looking forward to this
Thanks guys

Could I build a Caproni Ca.311 for the Eye spy GB. It was used in a reconnaissance-bomber role. If not then what could I use? Is it strictly reconnaissance aircraft? There's not a lot of options I can think of. A Fi 156?

All of these seem perfectly fine to me, but you'll probably want to ask Paul or Lee over in this thread.

Hi all fellow modellers, regarding the "Heil the Hunters" GB, is there any scale, camo, or campaign limitations and can figures be included ?

Many thanks
