Tamiya 1/20 Honda RA272

Post by Thumboy »

Here are the final reveal photos of my first entry into the Rising Sun GB. Tamiya's 1/20 Honda RA272. for all the info, history and my journey through this build please check out my build thread. I have thoroughly enjoyed building this kit form Tamiya, no major problems to report and the fit was exceptional. I did add quite a lot of my own scratch built detail which included adding fuel lines in the engine bay, replaced the air funnels, front break lines, ht leads, mesh on the engine cover and adding springs to the suspension the only issue I had with the kit was the missing wing mirror lens, which was tricky to fix. hope you enjoy the photos of the Honda.

Nice job,

I love those old racers. the pilots from that time, were real ones with Huge balls because driving so fast as they were driving with almost no adherence they were mad!!

Love it.

Cheers Goose, they sure had to work hard. No power steering, full manual gearbox surrounded by gallons of petrol and no seat belts. Real racing
