Bucket 1/35 scale made from a beer can!

Post by hansolo »

Hi guys,

During my Coen Tiger build, I made a bucket from paper.
Peppie suggested I make one from a beer can. So I did. :th:

And this is the result:

I found it to high, so I cut of a piece.

Thanks!

I start of with blue grey acrylics.
Than thin white oil paint and thin black and brown.
That's it. :th:

I always wondered where people got all those little buckets from!

Thanks for the pics; I'm gonna try to make one sometime!

Hey, I did not know you do builds on demand :th:

Stunning result, if I may say so :cheers2:
Specially love the colors :bow::

Now I really have no more excuse and I've got to build one myself.

Fantastic as always Han, well done mate..
Quick question, what are you using to join the bucket side and to its bottom?? CA glue? Solder?
Only asking as a smooth shiny metal surface is a PITA to join and easily breaks if handled to much.
Your pictures don't show the joined side?
Thanks again buddy, the paint up is superb, so life-like!...
All the best... :thumb1:

I tried a solder version. that didn't really work out.
So I tried CA glue. That worked out fine. I did handle with care though. :th:
