Small update.....got a start on my tiger....got the suspension in and wheels sorted out

One unstarted dragon kit 6953...this kit is loaded with all the goodies u could ever want except one thing zimmerit .....so I will b using the stickers that tamiya makes

Image
Image
Image

So the stickers r a little hard to work with as they r not laser cut on the sheet so u have to cut them out by hand which can
B a pain when trying to make circular cuts....so these stick real good the adhesive seems strong and what I did was clean the area of the plastic with an alcohol prep which made it stick really good .....the look is pretty good I think

Even though it says so right in the title of your build Art, I'd forgotten that you were using 6253 as your tiger kit.
:eeek:
Just when I thought that your build couldn't get any more challenging WOW.
Enjoy that kit bud, she's a beauty.

So things were moving along without much problems but then it happened.....I somehow managed to throw out a sprue I thought had nothing I needed on it but it turns out it had the lower brackets for the spare tracks that mount to the turret... :eeek: :wall: ...so I ended making some with some left over PE.....speaking of PE I found out quickly I'm not very good at using it...I tired desperately to make the fenders with PE but only managed to glue the pieces to my fingers or tweezers. I was close to melt down and just gave up and used the plastic ones...finished the turret up and started on the tracks got one side down which are the magic tracks  then started to beat her up a bit....I bent up fenders and exhaust covers and plan on doing more like chip the zimm and bend up turret tool box....here's pics of where I'm not now almost done

It's too bad about the missing track holders. Nice save with the scratch built ones though Art.

WOW! That looks cool Art. Too bad about the blurriness.
What will he be sitting in? I'm just curious as I don't remember seeing a chair or anything in your pile of goodies.
