1/48 Airfix Messerschmitt Bf109E

Post by shortCummins »

my first build for many years, this is a ‘fantasy’ paint job, I’m sure that no Bf109E ever looked quite like this…

What a stunning result for a number of firsts! I really like the red tail, very reminiscent of the Indiana Jones films....that takes me back.

How did you get such perfect circles?

Brilliant work! I may get inspired to do my own Indiana Jones flavored paint job now! I haven't seen this movie in decades and have been itching to see it lately. Now you come up with this, thanks. I need to buy it now.

Remember this aircraft? I never knew what it was until I finally remembered it and looked it up today. Just a fanciful Hollywood dream machine. I can't seem to find the kit anywhere though. It was an all resin kit and seems to have disappeared.
