Hasegawa Nakajima KI-43 (Oscar)

Post by Pierce »

Well here it is my entry into this GB

The kit is an older kit which you can tell from the molds. In one you can see what I call swirles. Not sure what they are or how it will effect the paint. Guess I will see soon enough.

Im not sure how the decals are going to work. I might have to get some after market

and the instructions. You can also tell the age of the kit from the instructions

Hi Pierce , nice subject choice :th:

Well the kit looks an oldie , so welcome to the club , my Tamiya NAkajima Frank was a little like yours ...but is good to be back to older days but now with the new techniques ;)

Really hope that your build went well and good luck with it ! Those swirles look a great challenge to your paint job ...:

:cheers2:
Cheers ,
António

Hi Pierce, nice choice. The swirls may well be in the plastic and not effect the paint. May be older but a great kit nonetheless. Aidan

Really sorry to hear that Pierce, sounds like you have had a crap couple of weeks. Glad your wife is ok but that sort of thing has got to shake you up.

Modelling is our escape from the world outside, but sometimes there is no escaping it.

Andrew
