Academy F-4C

Post by JonMW »

So finally got this done. It's a nice and the building went really well, but the painting and decals have been fighting me a lot. Had to repaint the plane ones and everywhere I masked some paint ripped off and it kept scratching. So the paint is not the best, good thing you can hide some mistakes in the pictures  . It's build mostly from the box, just add some PE to the seats and resin wheels, paint is the really good Akan paints and Alclad for the metal parts. Feels good to have this done now I can fully concentrate on the shelf of doom Corvette.

Lovely stuff I'm really starting to become a phantom fan
It's not the number of times you get knocked down but how many times you get back up

That looks great man! :cheers2: The nice thing about wartime aircraft is that you can't really have mistakes in the painting! Something is almost guaranteed to be a different color than it should be somewhere and there will be paint touch-ups here and there. Like Bob Ross always said "Happy Accidents" lol
