1/72 Trumpeter A-7A Corsair II...last min entry

Post by MikeyKb »

Hey!
Got this rrp $75 kit for $20... had to pick it up, and then couldn't put it down. Started it as soon as I got home - looking possible to finish this little beauty in time.

Hope you enjoy!

The kit is an absolute dream. The parts are very well detailed and fit together perfectly, no problems as of yet.
I'll put up some history of this little stubby baddass.

Got the office together nicely and without any problems

Strange piece that required cutting out of the plastic and drilling a new hole... don't know why they didn't just have the hold pre-made...but whatever, nice fit after some sanding...

Front wheel bay... I installed it backwards the first time... :wall: thank god all the glue will be hidden when installed

Office painted up in Dark Grey, then decided to try my hand at scratch-built ejector handles... looks pretty good! just gotta att paint. Now gotta figure out the seat-belts...

Most of the armaments built up and sanded down

Hope you've enjoyed! I'm loving this little kit so far :)
