HALP! I dropped my Airbrush

Post by grover »

I just dropped my new H&S Evolution and it landed on the cap and its bent. It's not a complete disaster as I was going to replace it with one of those easy to clean caps. The problem I have is I don't know what part number I should get.

Here's my bent and broken cap (sorry for the blury image)

The local H&S supplier doesnt have a huge amount of parts. I did see this but it says it's a push on part and im not sure what that means. Can anyone who has H&S experience help??

Mine came with two ends, the one you broke and the one you show. I use the one shown in the website, it just pushes on, like the broken one, it is the easy to clean one.

Be careful, the needle is right there and it makes me nervous pushing it on and pulling it off when I break it down to clean.

lucky you did not bend the needle or break the tip.

I suggest tearing the AB down several times, and putting it back together before you try using it, get real familiar with it. I just plugged it in and go at it which wasn't good.

When you put the trigger in, it goes in two way and kind of works, but it has to go in the correct way to work correctly.

Imagine the trigger as a U, the open end goes toward the front. Or just snap a few pics of the AB as you break it down, so you know how it goes back.

Thanks mate. Evo trigger looks like a U. Lucky I got the 2 in 1 kit and the 4mill kit has a cap as well. They look a little different but it should be ok until I can get the Needle Cap. I may get a replacement 2mm cap and needle just in case though.

This is what you need, that push on part is just half of what you need, and get the right nozzle size for you needle
