harder&steenbeck meets H316

Post by MarkVerploeg »

Hi there
So i am building my good morning da nang kit for the Vietnam gb
And it is time to paint ,good still no problem there
And for the most part i use my h&s evolution
A good brush all day long but i had to spray the bottom of the plane
This is in white and the instruction call for mr hobby aqueous H316 white semi gloss
After 25 tries (yes a lot i know) i finally got the mix of paint and thinner right
But when i use my evo it still won't spray as smooth as i want
So while cleaning the evo i though i might aswell try the ultra for the next layer
And what do you know , sprays like dream
Still it won't go down super smooth but that can be fixed with a little bit of sanding and buffing (already tried and it works)
But my issue is why does the ultra beats the evo
Both have a 0.20 needle/nozzle setup and i used the same paint
The only difference is that the ultra has the nozzle from the evo and i have a pinch tip setup for the evo
Can someone tell me what is going on

Your pinch tip on tight? Sometime they work loose. I'm finding this with mine, when I wipe off with tissue I give it a little test to see if snug.
